Hi! We are 11th grade students from Mrs. Giol's class in Colegio San Ignacio. As a biology class, we are currently researching on a case study about junk DNA, especially on how it affects such diseases. In this case, the condition inquired upon is known as Thalassemia, a blood disease found mostly on people from Arabic, European, or African disease. We are also applying the case study on a specific particular known as Mrs. X in order to research upon her pedigree, genetics, and their impact on how she obtained the disease.
